PG Diploma in HR & Admin

Objectives:

This course of PG Diploma in HR & Administration will provide the candidate with the knowledge related to the core functions of HR as well as some functions of general administration.

Eligibility:

• Any Graduate
• Working professionals from HR and Administrative departments.

Course Structure:

This shall be a work integrated PG Diploma in HR & Administration will be conducted over a period of one year and will cover 20 credits of classroom training and 20 credits of on the job training.

Internship:

This is a work integrated course, so all students who are not already working shall be placed with industry HR teams for a minimum of 4 months in the year. Most students end up getting an internship for the full year. Some have even been absorbed by the company on permanent rolls after the completion of the course.

Examination:

Students will be assessed on project work and a written examination that will be conducted at the end of each semester.

Syllabus:

The Post Graduate Diploma shall consist of four core courses covering the generic HR subjects and other one course covering the administrative area. These are, recruitment management, payroll & statutory compliance, performance management (performance appraisal), training & development, general administration.

 

PG diploma in sales & marketing 


Objectives:

One of the key areas in business is ‘Sales & Marketing’. Now ‘sales’ is a vast subject and it has its nuances depending on the type of organization and the kind of products or services that need to be sold. There are also multiple channels for sales adopted by various industries. The target customer also plays an important role in the method adopted for sales. This program aims to provide the candidate an end to end understanding of the ‘Sales & Marketing’ process and the skills required becoming an effective sales & Marketing professional. This program shall be work integrated and will enable the participant to develop his/her sales & Marketing skills in specific industry domains using multiple channels. Specific inputs related to specific industry/sector, products & services shall also be provided before commencing the on the job training.

PG DIPLOMA IN DIGITAL MARKETING 
Objectives:

‘Digital Marketing’ is now an indispensable part of any effective marketing campaign, because of its targeted reach, customized messaging, low costs and huge availability of data for analysis. This program shall enable participants to get a wide as well as deep understanding of the subject and will be able to conduct marketing activities on a host of digital platforms.

Eligibility:

• Any Graduate.
• Working professional from Marketing / Sales and Administrative departments and
personnel in other line departments / Strategic Business UNITS (SBUs) of Public
Sector Enterprise.

Course Structure:

This shall be a work integrated PG Diploma in Digital Marketing and will be conducted over a period of one year and will cover 20 credits of classroom training and 20 credits of on the job training.

PG DIPLOMA IN TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Objectives:

Training and Development is one of the most powerful, strategic and critical functions – not just in the HR department – but across an organisation. It is imperative that the Training managers reach out to the functional managers & impress them on the need to work together with training and development specialist as a business partner for the benefit of their own function. This can significantly contribute to organizational, group and individual effectiveness, efficiency, growth and success.
This course has thus been designed to help training and development professionals to understand the function thoroughly and to help them acquire the prerequisite skills to be able to ably perform their task or lead the team proficiently.

B.VOC PROGRAM IN SALES & MARKETING MANAGEMENT
 Objectives:

The course has been designed with the objective of preparing an individual to take up a career in the Sales & Marketing profession. This course covers all the specific aspects of the Sales & Marketing process and in the final year also allows the student to take up the Sales & Marketing profession in specific industries like banking, insurance, telecom, retail, telesales and for institutional Sales & Marketing across industries. The degree would be awarded by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Deemed University). This degree is equivalent to any other bachelors degree granted by the University Grants Commission (UGC)

Eligibility:
• Higher Secondary completed. • Demonstrated interest in the said field. Course Structure:
The Vocational course is a three year program which consists of a combination of Practical, Theory and general education courses. This three year program will be divided into 6 semesters; 2 semesters per year. 1st year will be a Diploma, 2nd year will be Advance Diploma & 3rd year will be a Degree. The program is a work integrated training which includes on-the-job training (practical) for 5 days a week and 1 day of theory training. We shall ensure that each student is able to undergo an internship (with stipend) with some of the well known companies in the industry.

Syllabus:

The subjects/topics covered shall include , basics of Sales, types of sales, skills for effective sales, market analysis, sales process, English language, sales distribution network, feet on street sales, B2B sales, salary/incentives, computing, sales in rural markets, e-commerce, using social media. The final year shall have electives related to sales & marketing function in various industries, like retail, banking, insurance, FMCG, telecom, consumer durables etc.
