Hotel management admission questions

The Bachelor Degree and the Diplomas require completion of 10+2 from any stream. The Post Graduate programmes require a bachelor degree in any discipline. There is no entrance examination requirement for the College's own programmes; admission is by application and counselling.

Typically your 10th and 12th marksheets and certificates, a graduation certificate for postgraduate programmes, photo identification, and recent passport-size photographs. The admissions team confirms the exact list for your programme, since it differs between the degree, diploma and PG routes.

Core areas are Front Office, Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping and basic Culinary operations, supported by communication, grooming and professional etiquette training. Later stages add management topics such as revenue and cost control, guest experience and departmental supervision.

SHM provides assured placements to students, supported by a dedicated placement cell, interview preparation and grooming, and internships with industry partners.

The Earn While You Learn pathway is designed for exactly that. Students are placed into structured industry training that runs alongside the academic programme, so the work is part of the qualification rather than something separate competing with it.
